Two stars. I really wanted to like Everest Momo in downtown West Dearborn but left disappointed. The momos were very small and not filling at all. For over thirteen dollars after tax you only get eight tiny dumplings that barely make a dent especially if you are a 22 year old guy like me who eats one solid meal a day. I had to drive to another Asian spot afterward just to get noodles and actually feel satisfied. Put yourself in my shoes. The portions feel designed for someone on a strict diet rather than a hungry person looking for a proper meal. The only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is that the three side sauces they include are actually tasty. Otherwise this was a first and last visit for me. Thanks.

I don't understand the negative review. It seems mostly based on personal taste, and if someone doesn't enjoy curry or Nepali spices, this cuisine may simply not be for them. I've spoken with the owner and have always found him respectful, kind, and professional. He prepares the food fresh, is honest about wait times, and provides good service. Regarding the halal concern, I asked the owner directly and was told the food is halal, and I have no reason to doubt that. Portions can feel a bit small, but the quality, freshness, and flavor have always made up for it in my experience. The restaurant has a calm atmosphere, great service, and unique food. I recommend Everest MoMo for authentic halal Nepali food in Dearborn.

Small and humble spot. You walk in and you see them making the dumplings on site. The spices will hit your nose and the flavors will equally hit your tastebuds. Will definitely be back for more!

Perhaps the best, most flavorful dumplings I have ever had. While a relatively limited set of preparations, the types of fillings were diverse making for options for everyone. I would drive out of my way to visit this location again, and you should, too.

We placed our order and picked up a fantastic spread of items, and every single one was perfect: Lamb and Chicken Soup Momo, Spicy Mango Habanero Chicken Momo, Pan-Fried Chicken Momo.
